same designer of chandeliers in the White House and
Versailles Palace, creates a fitting prelude to the splendor of the
guest parlor, tastefully decorated with a turn-of-the-century Duncan-Fife
Victorian Sofa and an 1892 burled-walnut sideboard under an original
floral medallion of still another Schoenbach chandelier. In addition,
the parlor is complimented with beautiful Italian oil paintings and
an Italian handcrafted teacart and game table, inviting guests to a
relaxing game of chess or backgammon. |
| The dining room offers guests a full breakfast every morning with fresh-baked breads and muffins. On chilly mornings, the fireside ambience provides a relaxing awakening. The deep burgundy walls and soft music | |

An antique brass teardrop chandelier is reflected in the mirror, giving a brilliant aura to this charming room, while paintings of Venice and the Piazzas in Rome add the perfect finishing touches. For a unique B&B dining atmosphere, the dining room provides separate red mahogany tables and elegantly wood-carved chairs for a leisurely breakfast. The tables can be arranged in a single setting for larger groups if desired. |
